New Beginnings Barber & Beauty College was the recent recipient of three scholarships for students, provided by Toyota of Brookhaven. The college, located in Holly Springs, is owned by Javis Gibson Sr., who also owns Hot Shots Barber Lounge, 124 East Monticello St., Brookhaven.

Gibson expressed thanks to the dealership and manager Prentiss Smith, “for going the extra mile to make sure these students have the adequate education needed to come out and be professional and knowledgeable Master Barbers.”
