OLE BROOK FESTIVAL 47: LIVE MUSIC

The 47th annual Ole Brook Festival is this coming weekend in downtown Brookhaven. Parking and entry to the festival are free.

The festival will feature arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, live music, a Kids Zone and a car show. Hours are Friday, Sept. 30, 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 1, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 150 arts and crafts, food and promo booths are filled with participating vendors. All spaces are sold out.

Live music will begin Friday at 6 p.m. with Laughter of Ruin, followed by The Bridge Band, on the Railroad Park Stage by the log cabin.

Music performances will continue Saturday with Rona Barrett at 10 a.m.; Kris Jamez at 10:30; Kelsey & Maddie at 11 a.m.; The Lincoln Outfit at noon; performers from Mississippi School of the Arts at 1 p.m.; and Cole Hill + Good Company at 2:30 p.m.

The ever-popular Kids Zone will be open all day Saturday, for $10 per child. Children ages 3 and up can have fun all day. Attractions include Spider Mountain, Leaps & Bounds, an obstacle course, jumpies for all ages, and the Ole Brook Choo Choo.
