BROOKHAVEN — Head Coach Alex Brown said the Brookhaven Academy Cougars clinched their district title Tuesday night in a 7-0 win over Copiah Academy. It was senior night for the Cougars.

A district title capped off one of the goals the Cougars set at the beginning of the season. Now, they turn to the postseason when they host Madison St. Joe on October 4 at 6:30 p.m. at BA. It will be the first round of the playoffs and BA hopes to reach the state finals.
