Don’t miss the deadline: Chamber accepting applications for junior ambassadors

BROOKHAVEN — Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for junior ambassadors. This position is for those who are interested in volunteering time at local events for community service hours at area schools.
Applications are limited to freshmen ladies in the area. You can inquire about the opportunity by visiting your school’s counselor’s office or go to the chambers website to fill out an application online or stop by the chamber of commerce or call 601-833-1411. The deadline is this Friday. Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce is located at 230 South Whitworth Street in Brookhaven.
Miss Merry Contest
December is almost here so it is time to deck the halls and host the Miss Merry Christmas Contest at the Brookhaven Chamber. Area ladies who are seniors in high school or in college 20 years and younger are eligible for the contest held at the Nov. 6, 2022 at 6p.m at the chamber. Forms are available at the chamber office or you can email admin@brookhavenchamber.com for more info.
