It was a wonderful afternoon of celebration for Ms. Lena Mae Townsend Thames for her 100th birthday.

It was a joy for all to see her delight in visiting with everyone. She was entertained with memories and the presence of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1922, to Hampton and Alice McGuffee Huhn. She has been a lifelong resident of the East Lincoln community.
