A concrete spill in the intersection of Hwy. 51 N and Industrial Park Road has been cleared.

Tuesday morning before 8 a.m., a concrete truck traveling south on Hwy. 51 N turned east onto Industrial Park Road, spilling wet concrete mix from its chute onto the roadway.

Brookhaven Police and Fire departments responded. A Mississippi Department of Transportation crew was dispatched to clean the mix from the road.

Traffic was directed around the spill area as MDOT worked.

At approximately 8:45 a.m., the road was cleared and traffic returned to its normal flow.
