BROOKHAVEN — Severe weather is moving through southwest Mississippi Tuesday afternoon and is expected to be in the area until early Wednesday morning. According to the Entergy Outage Map, 19 customers in Wesson are without power and it is expected to be back on by 5 p.m. Southwest Electric has one customer without power in Copiah County.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for McComb, Summit and Pricedale until 4:30 p.m. with wind gusts up to 60 mph and quarter sized hail possible.
