West Lincoln 11^th-grader Carson Temple recently attended the 2022 Ole Miss Trent Lott Emerging Leaders Conference in Oxford. The Trent Lott Leadership Institute’s primary mission is to prepare young people to assume positions of leadership in an increasingly complex world. Students attended workshops examining leadership principles, local leadership, civic engagement and public policy. The son of Darryl and Melissa Temple, Carson plans to study public policy and/or law after high school.
