Lipsey basketball league crowns boys’, girls’ champs

The creation of a school-led 5th/6th grade basketball league at Lipsey Middle School recently ended with a successful pair of championship games. The White Team won the championship game in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions.

There were four teams in each division and the championship featured the teams with the best two records. With an emphasis on fundamentals, the players worked out at the school throughout the summer before being divided into teams ahead of the season.
