BROOKHAVEN — KDMC’s upcoming 5K is coming this April and will be part of a four race series, race contact Lauren Self said.

People have a 22 days to register for KDMC’s Bunny Hop 5K and one mile Fun Run. The race will start at 7:30 a.m. in Downtown Brookhaven on April 8, 2023.

It is $25 for adults to register for the 5K and $12.50 for the one mile fun run, for children 12 and under.

Self said the course will follow Brookhaven’s 5K course which starts downtown in front of the Chamber of Commerce building on Whitworth Avenue, winds its way through Ole town and ends at the front of the chamber.

Funds raised from this race will go towards the KDMC hospital foundation and will be used to help replace equipment as needed.

The other three races are the Cupid Shuffle, held in February, Bubble Run, to be held in July or August and a Turkey Trot in November.
