“We know that caregiving can be a challenging and demanding role,” said VA Caregiver Support Program Coordinator Shalonda Carlisle. “We hope this Caregiver Support Resource Fair will provide caregivers with the information and support they need to provide the best care to their loved ones and themselves.”

Mississippi State Veterans Home, American Legion, and the Social Security Administration are among the groups invited to participate in the fair.

“We encourage all caregivers to attend this event because it will be a great opportunity to connect with others facing similar challenges and to learn more about the resources available,” Carlisle said.
