There’s an “Enhanced” risk for severe weather in central and parts of south Mississippi. Damaging winds and tornadoes are possible.

“We know this is not what folks want to see, but it’s important to remain informed during severe weather events,” Lincoln County Emergency Management Director Chris Reid said.

“Have multiple ways to receive weather alerts. Do not rely on outdoor sirens to alert you while inside your home.”
