The GOAT Camp — God Over All Things — starts Tuesday night and continues through Thursday, 5:30 – 7 p.m. nightly on the Exchange Club small ball field.

GOAT is a Bible-based kids’ camp with sports, activities, food and music. It is free and open to the public.

No registration is needed, said Jessica Breazeale of CenterPoint Church.

“Just show up!”

The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Baptist Student Union will be there Wednesday night to help. On Thursday, the Co-Lin Wolves baseball team will be on the field to play with the kids.

GOAT is an acronym often used for “greatest of all time” when referring to sports teams and athletes. CenterPoint Church pastor Ricky Breazeale hopes the connection will resonate with kids and parents, and that children ages 5 and up can learn that following Jesus is anything but boring.

Approximately 80 children and teens attended the fall 2022 camp, along with about 20 volunteers. CenterPoint hopes to continue the camps twice a year, in April and October.
