BRANDON — West Lincoln won six of seven courts to advance to the second round in the MHSAA Tennis Playoffs. The bears beat Pelehatchie and are scheduled to play Sacred Heart in Hattiesburg on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Enterprise and Bogue Chitto are also playing in the tennis team playoffs.

Boys singles player Baylor Sills won a tight match 6-4, 6-4. Girls singles Chloe Sterling blew out her opponent 6-0, 6-0. Boys doubles No.1 pair Kam Clark and Tristin Rollins won 6-0, 6-0.

Girls doubles No.1 Alexis Johnson and Ann Carter Waltman won 6-1, 6-1. Girls doubles No. 2 Preslee Rushing and Alexis Norsworthy won 6-1, 6-0.

Mixed doubles partners Alaina Mathis and Hayden Skates won 6-4, 6-1.

Enterprise is scheduled to play Puckett at the Brookhaven Country Club tomorrow. Bogue Chitto, who won the district, will play the winner of East Marion and North Forrest on Wednesday at 3:30 at the Brookhaven City Courts.
