Four establishments earn A ratings

BROOKHAVEN — Mississippi Department of Health inspected four food establishments Thursday in Lincoln County. One medical facility, two grocery facilities and a snow cone stand passed with flying colors.  

Haven Hall, located at 101 Mill Street, earned its 14th straight A since 2016. It is classified as a hospital/nursing home according to the Mississippi Department of Health and is one of four nursing homes under parent company Magnolia Healthcare. 

Brookhaven Walmart’s Deli earned its fourth straight A Thursday. MSDH found no violations on a visit to the store at 960 Brookway Boulevard. Walmart’s bakery earned its second straight A and its seventh A rating since 2016.

Snow Haven Snowballs Snowpro (mobile unit) earned an A. The snow cone stand is located at 307 US 51 N. It is the fourth straight A the stand has received since 2020.
