The Brookhaven Tourism Council continues its annual and popular Summer Concert Series by kicking off 2023’s lineup with Mike Rob and the 601 Band.

The band will take the Railroad Park Stage at 7 p.m. Friday, May 5. Based in Jackson, Mike Rob and band are known for their classic soul music performances. Rob was named Jackson Music Awards’ Male Vocalist of the Year in 2007 and 2019, ad the band won Best R&B Artist/Group in 2018.

The music-loving public is invited to this first of three free shows in the downtown park.

Four Way Stop will be the next group to perform, on Friday, June 2. This Brookhaven-based band thrives on classic rock. Their gritty, high-energy show is a crowd pleaser.

The final band of the summer triad will be The Bridge Band on July 7. Also based out of Brookhaven, the band covers well-known classics sure to get the crowd involved.
