Starstruck Dance Company to perform recitals at Co-Lin

Starstruck Dance Company, the competition team for Nena Smith’s School of Dance, has recently finished its competition season with many outstanding awards and achievements. The team is under the direction of Kaila Denton. Assisting her are Nena Smith, Kayla Barfield and Elizabeth Nunnery.
At each competition they were selected for special “Judges’ Awards” for costume, showmanship, sportsmanship and choreography. They also came home with many first-place trophies and recognitions. The team will be performing their award winning routines at the studio’s annual recital on Saturday, May 20 and Monday, May 22 at 6 p.m. on the Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Wesson campus.
