Mr. and Mrs. Mark Henderson of Wesson are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Elisabeth, to Michael Cooper Roddy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Knight Phares Roddy, junior, of Clinton, Louisiana. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Issac Entrican and the late Mrs. Anita Entrican, the late W.J. Henderson, and Rev. James Smith and the late Mrs. Helen Henderson Smith. 

Miss Henderson is a 2019 homeschool graduate. She also graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2022. She is employed as a legal officer at the Office of Legal Counsel for Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services. 

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Elaine Williams Roddy and the late Mr. Knight Phares Roddy, senior, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Michael W. Cooper. He is a 2019 homeschool graduate. In May, he graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, July 15, at First Baptist Church in Clinton, Louisiana. A reception will follow at the McKowen Building in Jackson, Louisiana. After a honeymoon, the couple will reside in Alabama at Fort Novosel, known formerly as Fort Rucker, where 2nd Lt. Roddy will begin flight school.
