The Brookhaven-Lincoln County Rotary Club recently honored Dr. Shahla Fataliyeva-Anderson, the widow of former member, president and District Governor Mark Anderson with the presentation of a plaque, commemorating the renaming of the club’s annual scholarship after Anderson.

The scholarship is for students attending Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Co-Lin Foundation Executive Director Angela Furr presented the plague.

“Mark Anderson was passionate about Rotary and this club was better because of him,” Furr said.
