Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County recently received a “generous monetary donation” from Bank Plus for its continued work in the area. Habitat has been active in Brookhaven for 28 years. “Lincoln County has always had a heart for building community. The spirit of giving and the level of compassion for mankind inspires us all to do better and be better. Habitat’s mission is to instill a culture where families are able to help themselves offering a hand up, not a hand out mentality. Habitat hopes to start a new build sooner than later and with this generous monetary donation from Bank Plus, we are on our way. Thank you,” said Habitat member Sydney Wilson.
