September is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month. It has also been recognized as “National Recovery Month” by Brookhaven Mayor Joe C. Cox.
A free event will take place at the Brookhaven Building on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. to help unlock healing and recovery through meaningful connections.
Sponsored by Families United Training Center in Brookhaven, guest speakers are Dr. Von Wade, Advanced Implementation Specialist with the Opioid Response Network, and Laurie L.
