The Brookhaven/FEMA Building is open for use as a temporary tornado shelter.

Due to severe weather in the area, the building at 1154 Belt Line Drive is open until the threat of severe weather has passed.

Anyone seeking to utilize the shelter should bring essential supplies, including medications, food, bottled water, and any personal items needed.

Restrooms, tables and chairs are available. Pets are not permitted.

If you have a weather emergency, call 9-1-1.

Drive carefully and be aware of downed trees.

Do not drive into areas of water, and do not travel if not necessary.
