Funeral services for Mr. James Curtis Nations will be on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven, MS at 12:00 PM with burial to follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

Mr. Nations, 96, of Brookhaven, MS passed away from this life on February 3, 2025. He was born on November 21, 1928 in Lincoln County, MS, to Versie Ford Nations and Elsie Ethel Brister Nations. He alongside his late wife, Eva, owned and operated a dairy farm for over 35 years. He was a loving husband, daddy, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Eva Imogene Anding Nations, sons-in-law, Randy Pepper and Reggie McCullough; brothers, Loyd, Leo, Carroll, Rex, Reggie and Wes; sisters, Lanelle, Imogene, Gerley, Jan, and Jeanette.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Jill Pepper, Dudley Nations (Susan), Jackie McCullough, and Lisa Jackson (Jimmy); grandchildren, Heather Wallace (Darron), Hope Smith (Toby), Jason Nations (Lanna), Ryan McCullough (Melinda), James Thornton Jr., Chris Thornton (Autumn), Bridget DeDeaux (Jeremy) Rusti Wallace (Jason); 17 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Don Nations; and his sister Sylvia Williamson.
