Girls Scouts of Greater Mississippi joins troops across the nation for National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, Feb. 14-16. The special weekend highlights the Girl Scout Cookie Program and gives cookie fans across the state a chance to show their support for local Girl Scouts by purchasing the popular treats.
During the Cookie Weekend, customers will find Girl Scouts hosting cookie booths at many popular retail stores. The weekend is an opportunity to stock up on classic cookies such as Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Trefoils, and others, while helping to fund unique experiences, community service projects, and education programs for girls across Mississippi.
“National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend is more than just a time to enjoy cookies — it’s a celebration of the incredible skills girls develop through the Girl Scout Cookie Program,” said Baylee R. Bible, Director of Development and Communications for Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi. “This weekend shines a spotlight on our young entrepreneurs, their dedication to their goals, and their commitment to giving back.”
Customers can also participate in the Cookies for Heroes program, which allows them to donate cookies to local heroes.
The online booth locator can help customers find booths in their area throughout the season. Customers can also purchase cookies online and have them delivered to their doorsteps.
