West Lincoln takes top spot in Region 7-2A girls’ basketball tourney

West Lincoln junior guard Chloe Sterling was named Region MVP and her teammates Kylie Jarancik, Emma Quin, and Maggy James were named All-Region.

The West Lincoln girls’ basketball team defeated Bogue Chitto 49-38 on Friday in the Region 7-2A tournament championship game. The tournament title was the seventh in the last eight years for the West Lincoln program.
