Hi, all!
Just a thought.
Unknown. That’s the only word on this simple marble stone. And it identifies a grave that was probably once marked with a wooden cross or some such marker, now long gone. And sadly, the identity of the body in that grave is now unknown to all who visit.
Unknown. That’s the only word to describe what we stepped off into in March 2020 when the nationwide pandemic began to run its rampant course.
Unknown. A simple carpenter’s baby boy, born in a stable, laid in a feeding trough, and raised to become our Savior.
Unknown. The love and grace of God Himself before any of us Christians accepted Him by faith for our salvation.
Unknown. The length of time we will each remain here on this round ball we call Earth before He calls us to our eternal home in Heaven with Him.
Unknown. The trials and troubles, but also the grace and mercy that we have yet to behold while here.
All unknown to each of us, but all completely known to Him. To the Lord, that body buried in that grave has a name. To the Lord, His plans are in place and will be completed regardless of what this world, time, or this year can and will throw at us!
Known. As a child of God, I am known to Him, I am loved, and I am forgiven!
I pray you share the love of the One Who knows you this week!
Just a thought.
’Til later.
