Kate Norwood of Wesson recently served as a page for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff.

Sen. Andy Berry sponsored her visit. Norwood is the daughter of Brian and Babs Norwood and is a student at Wesson Attendance Center.

“I absolutely loved this week,” she said. “It was so much fun meeting new people and learning more about what happens in our State Senate. I am incredibly grateful for this experience and the amazing people I met along the way. I hope to do it again.” From left, Norwood and Berry.
