The Mississippi Bankers Association annually honors Mississippians with an astounding 40 years of service to the banking profession. At its 2014 Annual Convention, the Mississippi Bankers Association recognized Trustmark’s own Martha Wilbert as a member of the 40 Year Club.

A native of Brookhaven, Wilbert graduated from the Mississippi School of Banking at the University of Mississippi and then attended graduate school Louisiana State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Banking and was previously a member of the National Association of Banking Women and the Bank Administration Institute. Wilbert is a vice president and senior retail banker. Previously she has served as the branch manager of Brookhaven Main Office, Highland Square Branch and Wal-Mart Branch and served as the manager of the loan department.

Wilbert is a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board and the Mississippi Bankers Association. She is a member of the Kings Daughters Foundation Board, the Kingsborough Elderly Housing Board and Willing Hearts Circle. Previously, Wilbert served as the president for the Optimist Club and treasurer for the United Way. She is a Mississippi Scholars presenter and an Adopt-A-School coordinator.

Wilbert and her husband, Reuben, have three children, Felicia, Jerry Jr. and Chris and six grandchildren. She is a member of Center Street Church of Christ, where she is a Bible Class teacher.
