“sub-Sippi,” a documentary on Mississippi’s subcultures by two Mississippi School of the Arts alumni, will be shown at 5:30 p.m. today in Enochs Hall Black Box Theatre.

The film, which is being shown by the MSA Film Club, was made by MSA alums Vincent Chaney with Greg Gandy and is the result of several months of travel through the state shooting footage at various communities.

The documentary has gained positive recognition throughout the state and has had premieres in Hattiesburg, the Delta and Jackson.
