A memorial service for Glynn Everett Blackwell Jr. is 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle in Brookhaven. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on Feb. 9, 1954, to Mr. and Mrs. Glynn Everett Blackwell Sr.

Preceding him in death were his sister, Sherry Blackwell, and grandmother Cassie Ainsworth.

Survivors are his parents, Glynn Blackwell Sr. and Doris Blackwell; two sons, Robbie Blackwell and wife, Holly, and Gregory Blackwell and wife, Tara, both of Bogue Chitto; six grandchildren, Molly Blackwell, Tucker Blackwell, Cayden Blackwell, Tana Blackwell, Chloe Blackwell and Riley Blackwell; two brothers, John Blackwell and Rodney Blackwell and wife, Debra; and one sister, Sheila Blackwell.
