LIBERTY – The Brookhaven Lady Cougars suffered two straight losses in Saturday softball action at Amite School Center tournament.

The Lady Cougars lost to Bowling Green 5-1 in game one and fall 5-3 to Oak Forest in game two.

“We’ve lost some confidence this week with some tough competition playing three AAA schools,” said BA coach Becky Flowers. “Overall, we made also two errors for the day and loaded the bases twice against Oak Forest. We just couldn’t get the timely hits we needed. It’s fast pitch softball. Now, we must regroup and get ready for district play Monday and hopefully all the pieces will fit together.”
