Funeral Services for Clementine Gibson Laird of Natchez are 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at Assumption Catholic Church with burial in New Salem Church of Christ Cemetery. Father David O’Conner will officiate. Laird Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, from 12:15 p.m. until time of service at Assumption Catholic Church.

Mrs. Laird, 94, died Nov. 9, 2014, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on March 27, 1920, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Jesse Moore Gibson and Elva Marie Breaux.

She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Ira Lee Laird; and one daughter, Nell Ruth Newkirk.

Survivors are her two sisters, Sister Mary Edmund O.P. of Columbus, Ohio and Clovis Voltmann of Van, Texas; one grandson, Craig Mader of Tallahassee; and several nieces and nephews.
