Funeral Services for Barney Roberts of Wesson are 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mr. Roberts, 64, died Jan. 7, 2015, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Hospital. He was born on Nov. 24, 1950, to Sherman Roberts and Myrtis Rushing Roberts.

He worked in the oilfield and was also a painter. Mr. Roberts loved spending time with his family. He also loved gardening and visiting with his buddies.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brothers, Dennis Roberts and Leonard Roberts.

Survivors are his wife, Edna Roberts; son, Gary Adams (Sarah); daughters, Phoebe Wallace (James LeCompte), Tonya Smith (Stacy), Stephanie Romero (Kevin Buotte), Michelle Derouen, Laura Coker (Bobby); brother, Roger Roberts and wife, Diane; 17 grandchildren, Zach Wallace, Carly Wallace, Brittany Beeson, Cody Beeson (Jessica), Dustin Johnson, Trey Griffin (Amie), Lou Lou Romero, Jarett Delcambre, Beau Michael Derouen, Brittany Hickman (Daniel), Kayla Adams, Preston Adams, Cole Adams, Allison Adams, Anna Adams, Anthony Durr, Andrew Durr; eight great-grandchildren; and his three special pets, Daisy, Elmo and Buddy.
