Funeral Services for Lillie Tee Smith of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at Williams Mortuary Chapel with burial in New Zion-Norfield Cemetery in Bogue Chitto. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, from 1 until 5 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Ms. Smith, 80, died Jan. 6, 2015, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 24, 1934, in Brookhaven to Frank Smith Sr. and Octavia McKnight Smith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Julius Pearl Smith and Frank Smith Jr.; sister, Laura Carter; brother-in-law, MacArthur Carter; sister-in-law, Willie Mae Smith; nephew, LaSalle Smith; and niece, Frances Johnson.

Survivors are her sister-in-law, Emma Lee Smith; a loving and devoted caretaker and niece, Emelda (Ron) Thompson, Felissa Smith, both of Brookhaven, Laura Faye Lazada of Country Club Hills, Illinois, Dorothy Williams of Lumberton; nephews, Larry, Stephen, Julius Terrell (Mary), Phillipe (Christine), Roger (Loretta), Randy (Sheila) Smith, all of Brookhaven, Tysha (Carla) of Mound Bayou and LeTara Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada; a very special friend, Annie Laura Smith of Brookhaven; and other numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and friends.
