Funeral Services for Mary Elizabeth Eades McCall of Union Church are 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at Union Church Presbyterian Church with burial in Union Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Union Church Presbyterian Church and will resume the following morning until time of service.

Mrs. McCall, 82, died Jan. 18, 2015, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 13, 1932, in Kentucky to Daniel B. Eades and Myrtle Johnson Eades.

She was a graduate of Ole Miss and taught at Jefferson County High School and Hazlehurst High School. She served in the United States Air Force and was retired postmaster. Mrs. McCall also was a member of the Pleasant Hill Eastern Star.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, Edwin McCall.

Survivors are her son, Bob Meteer and wife, Shirley, of Union Church; five grandchildren, Robbie Meteer (Jenny) of Lumberton, Texas, Spring Brown (Mark) of Union Church, Lane Reed of Meadville, Chad Reed of Summit and Carmen Maglievaz of Humble, Texas; and also survived by numerous great-grand children.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Janet Smith and Wanda Haire.
