Funeral services for Charles T. Mullins are 11 a.m. at Hamburg Baptist Church on Saturday, May 16, 2015, with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers are Willie Harrell, Michael Paul Harrell, Thomas Bonner, James H. Laird II, David Anthony Trim and David Gerald Pritchard. Honorary pallbearer is Triston Daniel Wilkinson.

Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, May 16, 2015, from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.

Mr. Mullins, 85, died Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville. He was born June 13, 1929 in Hazlehurst to James Harrison and Lola Ilene Parnell Mullins.

He was a retired gauger from Ergon Industries. He was a member of Hamburg Baptist Church. He loved his family, riding around on his tractor, liked working in his garden and spending time with his wife. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is preceded in death by parents; brothers, JW, Walter Ray and Billy Burt Mullins; sister, Lola Mae Mullins; one infant son; and one great-granddaughter, Katie Lynn Farr.

Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Fannie Marie Harrigill Mullins of Roxie; daughters, Sandra Mullins Pritchard and husband, Gerald, of Roxie, Barbara Mullins Bonner of Foxworth, Charlotte Mullins Laird and husband, James H., of McCall Creek, Sara Mullins Sato and husband, Toke, of Bogue Chitto, and Connie Ilene Mullins of Roxie; son, Charles David Mullins and wife, Donna Underwood Mullins, of Praireville, Louisiana; sister, Carmon Mullins of Roxie; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a special friend, Jimmy Brown; and a host of family and  friends.

The family wishes to extend a very special “thank you” to the staff of Baptist Medical Center and Franklin County Memorial Hospital.
