Funeral services for Dorothy Jane Kalmbach Jordan are Sunday, May 17, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home Natchez Drive with burial in Easthaven Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Dr. Ron Kitchens of Jackson Street United Methodist Church will be officiating the service.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Natchez Drive from 1 until 3 p.m.

Mrs. Jordan, 92, died on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Brook Manor Nursing Home in Brookhaven. She was born on March 9, 1923, in Wesson to William Thomas Kalmbach and Lotta Sea Purcell Kalmbach.

Mrs. Jordan was a charter member of Jackson Street United Methodist Church. She was retired as a licensed practical nurse from King’s Daughters Medical Center, where she served for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Reuben A. Jordan Sr.; her son, David A. Jordan; her brother, Charles R. Kalmbach; and her sister Ellanora Marie Rishel.

Her survivors are her sons, Reuben Jordan Jr. and wife, Marbeth, of Brookhaven and Randy E. Jordan and wife, Catherine, of Sumrall; her daughter, Beverly Jordan Fries of Brookhaven; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
