Funeral services for Wallace E. Murray are Sunday, June 28, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at New Sight Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Visitation is from 12 until 3 p.m. prior to services at Riverwood.

Mr. Murray, 81, of Brookhaven, died Friday, June 26, 2015. He was born on June 4, 1934, to Smylie E. Murray and Grace Wallace Murray.

He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean War, also was part of the Masonic Lodge for over 53 years, the American Legion and was a member and served as deacon of New Sight Baptist Church. He retired from Potter Company and Mississippi Employment Service.

Preceding him in death was his parents.

Survivors are his wife of 62 years, Emma C. Murray; son, Jim Murray; daughter, June M. Sandifer and husband, Bill; and one brother, Marvin Murray; four grandchildren, Matt Sandifer and wife, Christy, Ben Sandifer and wife, Trena, Christy Nohra and husband, Greg, and Kelly Murray; along with five great-grandchildren.
