Arrests

The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Tuesday was as follows:

 

• Jason Barner, 12-31-82, of 2010 Barner Road, Wesson — arrested for parole violation by the Brookhaven Police Department.

• Thomas C. Ethridge, 12-23-73, of 2144 SW Sun Rise Trail, Brookhaven — arrested for simple assault/domestic violence by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

• Fred Hill Jr., 09-16-64, of 108 West Highland Drive, Brookhaven — arrested for intimidating a witness by the LCSO.

• Laron D. Smith, 05-05-92, of 612 East Chickasaw St., Brookhaven — arrested for contempt of court by the BPD.

• Justin Summers, 10-20-85, of 1190 Weaver Road, McComb — arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license by the BPD.

King’s Daughters
Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had nine calls Wednesday; three were transfers, with two to Jackson and one to New Orleans. There were six emergency calls, with five medical, all five in the city. There was one trauma in the county.

Here are the winning numbers selected Wednesday in the Louisiana Lottery:

Local weather stats

The Wastewater Treatment Facility in Brookhaven reported a high of 93 degrees for Wednesday and a low of 68. The temperature at 7:30 a.m. Thursday was 72 degrees. There was no precipitation.

 

River Stages

On Wednesday the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 16.7, down 0.2 feet in the past 24 hours. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, was 24.1, down 0.1 feet in the past 24 hours. The Pearl River stage at Jackson reported no activity for Wednesday.
