The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Friday was as follows:

 

• Roy B. Benjamin Sr., 01-28-56, of 214 Linton Avenue — arrested for rape by Brookhaven Police Department.

• Sharleton Gordon, 08-05-79, of 2169 Timberland Road — arrested for disorderly conduct/breach of peace by BPD.

• Rudolph Smith, 07-05-54, of 110 Main St. — arrested for public drunkenness by BPD.

• Christopher L. Williams, 05-27-85, of California Camp Road, Brookhaven — arrested for resisting arrest, public drunkenness, and possession of drug paraphernalia by BPD.

• Mangold Brown Jr., 06-19-97, of 1022 Crooked Lane — arrested for possession of a controlled substance by BPD.

• Jeffrey L. Carithers, 08-06-91, of 922 Hastings Lane — arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to sell of a controlled substance by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

River stages

On Saturday, Oct. 3, the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 10.0, down 0.2. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, the stage was 17.2, with no change. The Pearl River at Jackson where the flood stage is 12.0 feet, the stage was 3.4, with no change.

 

Mississippi Highway Patrol

The Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a one-vehicle accident on Highway 583 Saturday at 2:16 p.m. No injuries were reported.

 

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reports 20 calls for Friday; with seven transfers, four to Jackson, two in the city and one to Pike County. There were 13 emergencies, nine medical, with six in the city and three in county; one trauma in the city; and three motor vehicle accidents, with two in the city and one in the county.
