The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a car fire at 9:11 p.m. Thursday on Hwy. 84 East near Hog Chain Road. No injuries were reported.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 5:39 p.m. Thursday on Hwy. 550 near Ellzey Road.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 11calls Thursday. Three were three transfers, with one to Jackson and two to McComb. There were eight emergency calls; seven medical, with six in the city and one in the county; one trauma in the county.
