BUDE – The Franklin County 14-year-old Dixie Boys BaseballLeague all-stars have been announced for the 2000 season. Theall-stars begin district tournament play on Saturday, July 8, atNatchez.

Playing on this year’s Franklin County all-star team are ChrisBlackwell, Will Buckles, Chester Crosby, Tyler Cummings, AnthonyDonnan, Casey Good, Dan Lofton, Jasper O’Quinn, Hunter Posey, ChrisSmith, Todd Springs, Warren Walker and Will Walker.

Coaches for the 14-year-olds are Ricky Buckles, James Cummingsand Lynn Posey.

In Wednesday’s Dixie Boys games, Vidalia, La., beat Franklin20-4 and tield 1-1 in the second game.
