Undefeated Franklin County battles Summit tonight at 6 p.m. forthe championship. Summit must beat Franklin County twice tonight toadvance to the state tournament in Natchez, beginning Saturday,July 22.

Eric Boyd was the winning pitcher last night, striking out onebatter and walking one. The losing hurler was Danial Sims with fourstrikeouts and four walks.

Powering Summit with two singles apiece were Boyd and A.J.Freeman. Blake Rhodus singled.

Crystal Springs got a single apiece from Jake Smith, MatthewWright and Dustin Merchant.
