Area private school football fans receive a preview of theirfavorite teams at jamborees this weekend. The Parklane AcademyJamboree is Friday night at McComb and the Copiah Academy Jamboreeis Saturday night at Gallman.

Brookhaven Academy participates in the Parklane Jamboree Fridaynight as the Cougars play Amite School Center at 7 and Parklane at9. Each quarter will allow teams to play offense and defense.

Other action at Parklane sends Centreville Academy against ASCat approximately 7:45, followed by Parklane vs. Centreville at8:30.

Saturday night’s Copiah Jamboree will feature seven teams, ledby the host Copiah Academy Colonels, starting at 6 p.m. Alsoentered are teams from Columbia Academy, East Rankin, HillcrestChristian, Prentiss Christian School, Adams County Christian Schooland Wayne Academy.

Each session or game will last 30 minutes, with the teamsalternating on offense and defense.
