Enterprise crushes Clarkdale

Monti Crotwell rushed the football seven times for 113 yards anda touchdown Friday night to help the host Enterprise Yellow Jacketsto a 40-8 Friday night victory over the Clarkdale Bulldogs at HarryCole Field.
Following a scoreless first quarter, Zach Smith of Enterprisebroke loose for a 45-yard touchdown and Shermaine Vaughn ran forthe two-point conversion for an early 8-0 lead over Clarkdale.
Also scoring a first-quarter TD for the Jackets was Vaughn from55-yards out. Justin Kyzar hit Brent Boyd for the two-pointconversion and a 16-8 lead by Enterprise over Clarkdale.
In third-quarter play, Boyd scrambled 28 yards a Jacket TDfollowed by a two-point pass-play from Kyzar to Vaughn for a 24-8lead Enterprise advantage.
The Jackets scored two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter togo up 40-8. Kyzar passed to Renald Skipper for a 79-yard TD and toCrotwell for the final TD of the game. Harris pitched to Boyd forthe two-point conversion.
Enterprise, coached by Ricky Deere, collected 6 first downs and390 yards on total offense. The Jacket ground game accounted for273 yards on 19 carries.
Kyzar completed 6 of 11 passes for 117 yards.
Defensively, Vaughn led the Jackets with 10 tackles.Making 9 stops was Zach Smith. Pierre Harthorne recovered a fumble.Intercepting a pass were Smith and Stuart Britt.
