Services for Clara Nadine Tullos Berberette of McComb are 2p.m., Friday, Sept. 15, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Pike Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is Thursday, Sept. 14, from 5-10 p.m. and Friday from9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Berberette, 65, died Sept. 12, 2000, of heart failure atSMRMC. She was born in Walthall County on April 8, 1935, to HomerTullos and Vela Dunaway Tullos.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Fernwood UnitedMethodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, JohnnyTullos; and her sister, Evie Lee Warner Berberette.

Survivors are her husband, A. H. Berberette of McComb; herdaughter, Deana B. Smith of Garland, Texas; her sisters, LindaSmith and Lee Euna Williams, both of Brookhaven; and one grandsonand numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Mary E. Smith of Monticello are 2 p.m., Thursday,Sept. 14, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in PleasantGrove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith, 85, died Sept. 12, 2000, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Simpson County on Nov. 23, 1914, to JamesE. and Susan Hankins Griffith.

She was a retired CNA with Home Health in Brookhaven. She was amember of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She was a memberof the Eastern Star.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, EstusSmith; and her son, J. E. Smith.

Survivors are her son, Billy Ray Smith of Wesson; her daughters,Geraldine Blackwell of Monticello, Patricia Anne Wilson of PleasantShade, Tenn., and Connie Sue Weeks of Slidell, La.; her brother,Leon Griffith of Orange, Texas; her sisters, Billie Watts of BatonRouge and Helen Lambert of Jayess; her companion, Walter C. Honea;and 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
