Brookhaven Academy trounces Trinity 68-32

WOODVILLE – Lindsey Phillips pumped in 13 points, 9 rebounds andmade 8 steals to help the Brookhaven Academy Lady Cougars to 68-32victory over Natchez Trinity Thursday night in the Lady RamsClassic at Wilkinson County Christian Academy.

“We had 20 steals in the first half,”said Brookhaven head coachBarry Gray. “It was our best defensive half ever since I have beenhere at Brookhaven Academy. I was very pleased.”

Adding support to the Lady Cougars win with 10 points was AmySmith. Lindsay Altman pulled down nine rebounds. Collected sevensteals and six assists was Katie Newman.
