MEADVILLE — A Franklin County resident was the victim of aone-vehicle accident on Highway 84 Monday evening.

Debbie Storey Dendy, 39, of Meadville, died around 5 p.m. whenthe truck she was driving left the highway about a mile and a halffrom Meadville, according to Franklin County Coroner PercyPeeler.

“The truck just left the road and wound up in the median,” saidPeeler. “It was just one of those unfortunate things.”

The cause of the accident is still undetermined, but aninvestigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol continues.

Dendy was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at thescene.

She was a cook at TJ’s Restaurant in Bude. Franklin Funeral Homeis in charge of arrangements.
