WESSON -Copiah-Lincoln Community College sophomore linebackerKamau Jackson has been named to the National Junior CollegeAthletic Association (NJCAA) First Team All-American.

Jackson (6-0, 240) was the leading tackler for the Co-Lin Wolvesdespite a torn ACL. He finished with 123 tackles, including 87 solostops. He had five quarterback sacks and led the team with 12tackles for a loss.
Jackson was also named Most Valuable Linebacker on theMississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges SouthDivision All-State Team. He was First Team MACJC All-State andNJCAA All-Region 23 as the Wolves finished 3-7 under head footballcoach Phil Broome who resigned last month.
Co-Lin defensive coordinator Dave Cross was named head coachDec. 7. Jackson is a Mississippi State signee.
