Roy Lee Thompson

Services for Roy Lee Thompson of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, Dec. 26, beginning at 2 p.m.

Mr. Thompson, 64, died Dec. 23, 2000, at his residence. He wasborn in Lawrence County on May 16, 1936, to Alvin Thompson andJocille Boswell Thompson.

He worked for Positive Pest Control. He was a member of MooseLodge #1968. He was a member of Powells Grove PentecostalChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers.

Survivors are his wife, Katherine Laird Thompson of Brookhaven;his sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene Ezell of Alliance, Ohio, andRonnie and Vicky Ezell and Mike and Cindy Ezell, all of Brookhaven;his daughters and son-in-law, Nancy Case and Evelyn and R. B.Bowman, all of Brookhaven; his brothers, Billy Thompson and DonThompson, both of Brookhaven, and Tommy Thompson of Washington; hismother-in-law, Clara Head; his special friends, Carrie Case andMarsha Winborne; and 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, anda host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
